PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The lighting design achieves a warm, inviting atmosphere with colour and dynamic lighting effects playing a vital energising role within the spaces thus reflecting the essence of the boutique hotel.

In particular the café bar in which a dramatic radio wave wall has been simulated, the lighting is individually addressed to create frequency waves, this effect can also be synchronised with music for special occasions and events.  Colour is used dramatically throughout the public spaces from colour washes to cast iron stairways through to infinity mirror portal lighting to the mezzanine bar, this provides for a fun and dramatic atmosphere, by tying these colours together we have created synergy between the spaces.

An eclectic mix of colloquial artwork and materials is sympathetically accented with dedicated downlights or grazelights to provide emphasis and lead you around the hotel ranging from key chandeliers lit like sculptural pieces through to the radio wall bathed in light.

The selection of special trimless downlights further emphasizes the boutique feel as the downlights appear to be cut into the fabric of the building revealing the structure beyond.
